Now running until Saturday November 12 – Stars Of Tomorrow. The annual showcase for the youngest talent of the dance community. Programme A Fri 6.30pm and Sat 2.30pm; programme B Sat 11am and 6.30pm. Booking open at The Spotlight. DTZ members $10, children $5. Non-members $12, children $6. Pensioners $5.

Saturday November 12 – Summer Night Concert: The Homecoming. Featuring two Zimbabweans carving out musical careers in South Africa, Josh Ansley and Philip Hanly. Also featuring Nigel Hopkins, Molly Dzangare and the Twin Rivers School Choir. Venue: Twin Rivers School, Belgravia. Picnic under the stars. Gates open 5.30pm, jazz ensemble 6pm, concert starts promptly at 7pm.

Sunday November 13 – Paintings & Pimms.  The Verandah Gallery hosts the second fundraiser of the year, from  9.30am to 1pm, 16 Woodholme Road, Emerald Hill. Lots of small and medium-sized unframed portfolio paintings by a wide variety of popular local artists, ideal for Christmas presents. Commission on sales to be donated to The Emerald Hill Children’s Home and The Emerald Hill School for the Deaf.  Refreshments by Vabatsiri Soroptimist Club.  Entry $2, under-12s free. info@verandahgallery.co.zw

Sunday November 13 – Fun pub quiz. Reps Theatre main bar, starting 11.15am. All welcome and no cover charge. Quiz host today Judy Macdonald.
