The judgement was delivered by Justice Lavender Makoni who said Manyenyeni was now free to resume his duties at Town House.

Kasukuwere was ordered to pay the costs and further told not to suspend Manyenyeni again.

The minister suspended the mayor on allegations of insubordination. Manyenyeni was accused of appointing James Mushore as Town Clerk without following laid down procedures.

Manyenyeni, however, rushed to court arguing that Kasukuwere had no right to suspend him.
