They say women mature faster than men. My girlfriend sometimes out-smarts me. I don’t mind her being intelligent, actually she inspires me. I am happy you appreciate your intelligent woman without feeling inferior to her. There is nothing wrong with her giving you sensible advice here and there, that is the whole idea of relationships. You want someone to argue with, someone to give you ideas when you need them. I don’t think she will disrespect you for that. You just need to find out whether she really respects you now – and if so, I don’t there will be a reason for her to change later on. In general I believe women respect men who allow them to be themselves and do not try to control them or keep them down. – Aunty Lisa
