Songbird Slizer honours Zim

Batswana diva Slizer, real name Naledi Kaisara, has begun shooting the video of her song titled Zimbabwe, which she dedicated to peace-loving nationals and will feature in her forthcoming album.

“We commenced shooting the video of the song in Botswana some time ago. We had to temporarily break due to show lined up here (Zimbabwe). The song and video will feature in her upcoming album which is yet to be titled and DVD album,” said the diva’s manager Mleshu, who is also a dancer with the group.

“Slizer came up with the song Zimbabwe because it is a beautiful country with amazing people.”

Slizer belted out the dedication song during the Gweru show dubbed Macheso-Slizer Clash gig. Before sending the crowd into a frenzy with the song, the Botswana diva said, “I have a song for you Gweru and I want you to rate it. But I know you are going to like it.”
